The TSCHAN®-S coupling is a torsionally flexible, shock-proof claw coupling. It compensates angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment within specified tolerances. With the TSCHAN®-S coupling, the torque is transmitted via a compressed elastic intermediate ring. The elastic intermediate ring absorbs shocks and torsional vibrations, is resistant to oil and largely insensitive to temperature.
The rotationally resilient, failsafe claw coupling TSCHAN B series is flexible in all directions and therefore compensates for angular, parallel and axial shaft misalignments of the connected machines. Misalignments can be caused, for example, by inaccurate assembly, heat movements or settling phenomena. By virtue of the rotational resilience of the coupling, dangerous torsional vibrations from the operational range of plant machinery can be transfered to rotational speed ranges in which no negative effects are to be expected.
The TSCHAN-TNR is a novel non-shiftable coupling. The distinctive feature of this coupling type is that its dynamic characteristics can selectively be adjusted over a wide range while maintaining its overall dimensions. This coupling has specifically been designed and optimized by TSCHAN for use primarily in internal combustion engines. By simply adjusting the torsional stiffness, the coupling assures that the entire drive train operates at particularly low vibration levels.
The Safety Couplings TSCHAN® TNT are specially designed for highest demands in heavy duty industries. In each version, whether as Flange-, Servo-Insert or Rigid Disc Coupling a positive-locking torque transmission is guarenteed. A precisely adjustable disengagement torque, easy handling as well as the fast separation of the coupling halves in the event of overload are only some features which are characterising these couplings.
Nor-Mex® Normex Coupling
The rotationally resilient coupling of the TSCHAN Nor-Mex series is flexible in all directions and therefore compensates for angular, parallel and axial shaft misalignments of the connected machines. Misalignments can be caused, for example, by inaccurate assembly, heat movements or settling phenomena. By virtue of the rotational resilience of the coupling, dangerous torsional vibrations from the operational range of plant machinery can be transfer to rotational speed ranges in which no negative effects are to be expected.
POSIMIN® all-steel, multiple disc couplings are torsionally rigid, free from backlash, flectionally elastic and maintenance free. They fulfill individual requirements in a compact way, using standard elements in a unit construction system. The power transmitting POSIMIN coupling disc pack guarantees a torque transmission which is free from backlash in both directions of rotation, as a result of the frictionallyengaged and form-fit linkage at each of 3 points. POSIMIN couplings are made of high grade C-Steels and the disc packs of corrosion-resistant spring steel. The coupling transmits the torque homokinetically in all four quadrants, due to the three-fold linkage and high spring rigidity.
The POSIFLEX® coupling is a torsionally rigid twin cardanic gear coupling. The coupling housings have a straight internal toothing whilst the hubs have an external toothing with a chased variable radius. As a result, the hubs can move spatially within the housing and thus compensate angular, radial and axial shaft misalignment of the adjoined shaft ends within specified tolerances.
TSCHAN TK barrel couplings are recommended for installation in crane lifting mechanisms, to connect the cable drum with the gearbox output shaft, as well as in winch conveyors and platform hoists.
