Flender N-EUPEX Pin Coupling

Due to their torsional flexibility, N-EUPEX® couplings can move critical torsional vibrations away from the operating area of mechanical equipment in such a way that no negative effects on the drive train are to be expected. N-EUPEX couplings are made of high-quality cast iron. The flexible elements made of synthetic rubber (NBR) are available in different degrees of hardness for many applications. Metal pins and flexible elements are designed so that no wear occurs when they are properly fitted


Flender N-EUPEX DS Pin Coupling

N-EUPEX DS® couplings do not have a fail-safe device, allowing positive disconnection of the input and output side upon failure of the flexible elements due to overload or wear. Then, the metal parts of the DS coupling can rotate freely in opposite directions.

Flender RUPEX Pin and Bush Coupling

RUPEX® couplings are used as flexible compensating couplings in all applications requiring a reliable transmission of torque under harsh operating conditions. The conical seats of the buffer pins facilitate mounting and guarantee maintenance-free operation. The optimized shape of the barreled buffers allows simple plug-in assembly and low circumferential backlash. Many type variants are offered, e.g., with brake disk, axial play limiting device or brake motor couplings.

Flender N-BIPEX Claw Coupling

With its cast hubs, the N-BIPEX allows greater freedom when designing the cam geometry, thereby laying the foundation for the innovative curved design. Unlike the milled cams typically available on the market, this design results in uniform loading of the elastomer compression bodies under all conditions and, in particular, prevents inward deformation of the cam ring due to load peaks that can cause greater wear. Hubs made of high-quality nodular cast iron allow the N-BIPEX to cope with high rotational speeds and critical bores. All in all, the N-BIPEX provides reserves that are considerably greater than those normally available on the market, thus achieving a significant reduction in wear.

Flender ZAPEX ZW Gear Coupling

The double-jointed gear couplings from the ZAPEX ZW® series compensate for angular, parallel and axial misalignment of shafts. They are particularly suitable for use under rough operating conditions. In addition to the standard series, couplings up to 13,500,000 Nm can be supplied.

Flender ZAPEX ZN Gear Coupling

ZAPEX ZN® couplings connect machine shafts and compensate for angular and radial misalignment. ZAPEX gear couplings from the ZN series are made of high-quality quenched and tempered steel and are manufactured according to the modular construction system.

Flender ARPEX ART Turbo Coupling

ARPEX ART® high performance couplings consist of pure expertise combined with the greatest possible power density. They are used in all high-speed drive systems that require torque transfer where shaft misalignment is occurring simultaneously. The ARPEX ART leaves nothing to be desired in terms of both bore capacity and safety: their compact design allows them to compensate for all of the expected misalignments in a very small space and, at the same time, gives them the highest possible torque capacity, the lowest possible weight and a very good center of gravity.

Flender FLUDEX Fluid Coupling

Fluid couplings operate according to the Föttinger principle. The coupling parts on the input and output side are not mechanically connected and are therefore wear-free. The torque is transmitted by the fluid movement in the coupling, accelerated by the radial blades. Flender MBG membrane coupling

FLENDER MBG® membrane couplings are two-part, torsionally rigid all-steel couplings with excellent concentricity and outstanding balance quality because they are balanced together with the motor rotor. The concentricity and balance quality are permanently retained thanks to the optimum centering of the gear teeth on the two coupling halves.

Flender ELPEX Flexible Ring Coupling

Owing to its low torsional stiffness and damping properties the ELPEX® coupling is very well suited to connecting machines with considerably non-uniform torque characteristics. Types with a fail-safe device between the flexible rings ensure emergency operation if the flexible rings are destroyed.

Flender ELPEX-B Rubber Tyre Coupling

Highly flexible ELPEX-B® couplings transmit torques without circumferential backlash in machines with non-uniform torque characteristics. They are resistant to wear and maintenance-free. The hubs of the ELPEX-B couplings are made of high-quality cast iron or steel. The torque is transmitted by a flexible tire reinforced with a cord ply.

Flender ELPEX-S Rubber Disk Coupling

Owing to its low torsional rigidity and damping properties the ELPEX-S® coupling is very well suited to connecting machines with considerably non-uniform torque characteristics. The inside diameter of the rubber disk element is vulcanized on a flange. ELPEX-S couplings are designed as a flange/shaft connection or shaft/shaft connection as standard. The hub can take a taper bush.
